General Instructions
for Application

Thank you for your interest in the allied health programs
at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. If
you would like to be considered for admission, you must
submit a completed application, fees, official transcripts,
and test scores (if applicable) by the deadline date for
each program.
ADVISEMENT
For assistance in determining your eligibility for admission,
completing your application materials, or determining how
to strengthen your application, please contact us to schedule
an in-person or telephone advising appointment. The telephone
number for the College of Allied Health Office of Academic
and Student Services is (405) 271-6588 in Oklahoma City

APPLICATION DEADLINES
Each department posts their admission requirements and the
application deadline on their website. Please go to the following website for more information on the program you are interested in: http://www.ah.ouhsc.edu/main/academic_programs.asp.
FINANCIAL AID
We encourage all students to complete the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the web. Additional
information may be found at the University of Oklahoma
Health Sciences Center Financial Aid website at http://w3.ouhsc.edu/sfs/.
GRADUATE RECORD EXAM (GRE)
The GRE is required by some of the professional and graduate
programs, and scores must be submitted prior to
the application deadline. Please request an official GRE score from http://www.gre.org/getscore.html#addlscrreports and have it sent to the Office of Admissions and Records
at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, P.O.
Box 26901, Oklahoma City, OK 73126-0901. The OUHSC institution
code is 6902.
OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
To expedite the admission process, please submit an official,
sealed transcript for each institution previously and/or
currently attending by January 15th. Then submit another
official, sealed transcript after fall grades have been
posted and prior to the application deadline. To
be considered for admission, all transcripts and supporting
documents
must be received prior to the application deadline date.

AFTER SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION
Approximately 5-10 days after submission of the application,
please check the application status view regularly at http://ouhsc.edu/students/student_info/ApplicationStatus/logon.cfm and verify that your transcripts and documents have been
received, processed, and entered correctly. If there are
any questions about how your coursework has been entered,
