Death and Dying: Taking Care of Clients, Families, and Ourselves.

This workshop will address questions about caring for clients who are dying and their families in a thoughtful and effective manner. Just as importantly, we’ll consider how you can take care of yourself in the face of a client’s death. The workshop will include a short video and a brief presentation of relevant research. The majority of our time will be spent in discussion about what participants have found to be most challenging and most helpful in taking care of their dying clients, clients’ families, and themselves.
