Health care providers must deliver exceptional service to produce outcomes that are valuable to the increasingly savvy consumer. A proficient therapist: therapist assistant team is the result of a more unified approach to the delivery of high quality/cost-effective care. This workshop teaches communication guidelines to promote successful relationships; defines important aspects of the therapist: therapist assistant relationship; distinguishes between the responsibilities of the therapist and assistant; and discusses the assistant’s “scope of work” within best practice standards, legal and regulatory statutes.
