Fall 2007:


Completed a two year appointment with the FEDERATION OF STATE BOARDS OF PHYSICAL THERAPY.   

Served on oversight panel for PT and PTA Analysis of Practice for the Licensure Examination Rubric.

Served on Task Force for Continuing Competence Examination Tool with FEDERATION OF STATE BOARDS OF PHYSICAL THERAPY.

Serves as Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association Chief Delegate.

Serves on the SLACK Publishing Company’s Advisory Board.

Invited Contributor to GERIATRIC REHABILITATION: A Textbook for the Physical Therapist Assistant, written by Jennifer Bottomley, PT, MS, PhD which is due to be published Fall 2009.

Presented “Legal and Ethical Issues for Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants” for the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association in Ardmore on Oct 23rd and in OKC on Dec 17th.

Presented “Developing the PT: PTA Partnership” for the Oklahoma City Community College PTA Program Annual Clinical Educator’s Meeting on Dec. 13th.

Declined invitation to be slated for 2008 APTA national office as Board of Director.

Attended APTA Leadership Conference, Nov 10th in New Orleans.

Appointed Co-Chair, OPTA Membership Committee.

Spring/Summer 2008:

Attended leadership meeting and Midwest Caucus as Oklahoma Chief Delegate at APTA Combined Sections Meeting.

Attended OPTA Legislative Strategies Meetings.

Began writing writing 2nd edition, PTA Handbook: Keys to Success in School & Career.                                       

Attended OPTA Annual Meeting in Tulsa, March 28 – 30th.

Represented Oklahoma as Chief Delegate at APTA House of Delegates, June 8 – 11th in San Antonio, TX.
