Oklahoma Assistive Technology
Equipment Exposition and
Pre-conference Events
The 2008 Oklahoma Assistive Technology Equipment
Exposition will be held on Thursday, December
4, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the
University of Oklahoma, Schusterman Campus,
Learning Center,
4502 E. 41st Street, Tulsa, OK. A variety of
assistive technology products that help people
with disabilities will be featured.
Those attending
the exposition can visit with product representatives
and attend any of the one-hour product presentations
throughout the day. It is an excellent opportunity
to see the various products first-hand. On
December 3rd, two additional events will
take place; 1)
a special pre-conference training, Teaching
Strategies for Children with Vision Impairments;
and, 2)
the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive
Technology Society of North America (RENSA)
is bringing the Assistive Technology Practitioner
(ATP) and Assistive Technology Supplier (ATS)
Certification testing to Oklahoma.
