The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is conducting a study to validate the School Outcomes Measure (SOM). The SOM is a minimal data set for collecting outcomes of children who receive school-based physical therapy and occupational therapy.

Who should participate?
Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists who:
a. are currently providing physical therapy or occupational therapy services to school-aged students;
b. have access to a computer, and
c. have about 1 hour to devote to completing the SOM during the month of March

What does the study involve?
Completion of the on-line version of the SOM for three students on your current case load during the month of March.

Will I be reimbursed?
Yes! After we receive your three completed SOMs, we will send you a $40.00 gift card from Wal-Mart.

If you are interested, please email Dr. Sandra Arnold, PT, PhD or Jenna Howsden, SOT, student assistant, at SomResearch@ouhsc.edu . We will then mail you the consent form and additional information regarding the study and accessing the on-line SOM form.
