    Oklahoma Autism Network

The Tolbert Center coordinates the Oklahoma Autism Network. The purpose of the Network is to provide evidence-based information about autism and information about resources available in the state for Oklahomans with autism, their families, and the professionals who support them.

The Oklahoma Autism Network website is the first step in implementing the Individuals with Autism and Their Families Oklahoma Plan, developed by the Autism Working Group. The Autism Working Group was initiated by Department of Human Services Director Howard Hendrick and convened by the Developmental Disabilities Services Division of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and the Lee Mitchener Tolbert Center for Developmental Disabilities. Participants included representatives of the primary agencies and providers serving people with autism in Oklahoma, representatives of higher education, and parents of people with autism.

The Oklahoma Autism Network Website is sponsored by the Lee Mitchener Tolbert Center and is funded by the Developmental Disabilities Service Division, Department of Human Services.
