A grant from the U. S. The overall goal of the grant-funded project is to prepare a larger number of well-qualified occupational therapists and physical therapists to be leaders in practice and provide evidence-based and effective early intervention and related services for infants, toddlers, and children from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.

The grant provides the following financial supports:

    1. A stipend of $5,250 per year to cover tuition and other expenses. The stipend should cover most or all in-state tuition and fees at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

    2. A travel and housing stipend of $1,500 for students who attend the Summer Institute.

    3. Up to $1,100 for fees related to specialist certification (PCS, BCP, ATP).
