    Sample Plans of Study

The attached PDF files show sample plans of study for students with BS degrees, MOT, MPT, DPT, or other postbaccalaurate professional degree, or a MS degree in rehabilitation sciences from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center with an emphasis in pediatrics.  Students with other degrees should contact the program for more information.

The sample plans of study are examples that indicate the semesters that OUHSC courses are offered and a recommended sequence of courses.  Some flexibility in coursework and timing of courses is possible and students need to work with their advisors and committees to develop their individualized plans of study.

Some of the plans include more than the required number of credits to indicate possibilities for each semester. Students are responsible for working with their advisors to ensure their plans of study include the courses and credits required for graduation

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center’s (OUHSC) course numbering system indicates the number of credits for courses by the last digit of the course numbers.  A course number ending with 3, for example, is a 3-credit course. If the last digit is 0, the course has variable credit and sometimes it can be repeated up to a maximum number of credits.  Advisors can help determine the number of credits for these courses.
