    Conferences & Workshops

    The Tolbert Center sponsors the statewide STARS (Statewide Training and Regional Supports) training program for family members and service providers children and adults receiving services through the SoonerStart early intervention program, Department of Education special education services, and developmental disabilities services through the Department of Human Services.

    TIC TOC (Training Inclusive Child care equals Terrific Opportunities for Children) is a training series for childcare providers intended to increase the number of children with disabilities participating in community-based childcare settings. The Division of Childcare, Oklahoma Department of Human Services supports this training.

    The Tolbert Center also sponsors and supports a variety of other conferences and workshops, including an annual Pediatric Update in the fall and the Bridges Conference in the spring.
