    Grief (GR110)

    March 4, 2010

     Oklahoma City,  OK
    Presented by: Sandie Foote, BA

The recurring experience of the grief process for families who have a child with a disability may be a bit different than other types of grief, since the child is still living and with you. Families need to be aware that this is a normal process, and helped through it. Understanding this is an essential part of building relationships we, as parents, will need to raise our child with special needs. Providers will gain insight into this experience and learn ways to recognize when to bring in additional help.
