    STARS: Leadership Training

    The purpose of the STARS Leadership training is to teach and support supervisors and team leaders how to provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, confronting, training and group process facilitation to their staff and team.

    Through the STARS Leadership training, team leaders are able to:

    1. Establish and implement personnel development objectives to achieve required staff competencies.

    2. Demonstrate knowledge of content and process to provide ongoing support and feedback that address staff roles and indicators.

    3. Demonstrate skills in coaching staff to perform effectively within their roles.

    4. Identify the need for group process facilitation, develop and implement appropriate facilitation strategies.

    5. Establish a support network among peers to nurture leadership skills.
