    Graduate Degree Programs

    Specialization in Pediatrics and Developmental Disabilities

    Students specializing in pediatrics and developmental disabilities have opportunities for coursework, research, and practical experiences in the specialty area. Specialty courses are available for students in both the Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degree programs. Many of the courses focus on working with children with developmental disabilities and their families, with an emphasis on early intervention, school-based services, and assistive technology.

    Courses on the list below with an asterisk currently are Web-based. They are available for graduate credit or continuing education credit.

    Tolbert Center faculty and clinical staff are involved in a wide variety of model service delivery activities, may of which are supported by grants or contracts.  Students may participate many of the activities in which they would like to have experience. Students also may participate in academic or clinical teaching, or have clinical experiences at the Oklahoma Assistive Technology Center.
